Another week, another round of updates. Nothing special here - except that I was finally able to build the latest version of the elementary Photos application for fedora 30 and rawhide. There are also some updates for rubygem packages in preparation for the upcoming 4.0 release of jekyll.

elementary packages

The issue with building Photos against the latest versions of the GExiv2 library were fixed in the master branch, and I backported the fix to the latest stable release - which made it possible for me to finally build it for fedora 30 and rawhide.

I updated the sequeler package for fedora to the latest version as well. It includes fixes for EXPLAIN queries, fixes for querying PostgreSQL tables, and updated translations.

ruby packages

My new tomlrb rubygem package went through the review process, and now it will soon be available on fedora 29 and later. It will enable me to enable the optional TOML functionality in jekyll.

In preparation for the upcoming 4.0 release of jekyll, some of its plugins were updated with bug-fix releases, and to add compatibility with pre-release versions of jekyll 4.0.
