This weeks brings a bunch of updates for elementary packages, but mostly minor bug-fix releases.

fedora updates

I’ve updated the gala window manager to an up-to-date snapshot of the git master branch, which brings several improvements around the coming screenshot support and the Picture-in-Picture mode.

gala 0.3.1 0.21.20190128.git1a96644.fc30, 0.20.20190128.git1a96644.fc29 6654145 → 1a96644

The latest version of the elementary icon theme brings some new and some redesigned and refined icons.

elementary-icon-theme 5.0.3 1.fc30, 1.fc29 5.0.2 → 5.0.3

The latest release of Files fixes a regression from version 4.1.4 that caused high CPU usage, and includes some fixes for sorting files.

elementary-files 4.1.5 1.fc30, 1.fc29 4.1.4 → 4.1.5

The new release of appcenter includes many improvements for user experience and performance - and the build for fedora now also disables the non-functional homepage elements (“featured” and “trending” applications only work on elementaryOS).

appcenter 3.1.1 1.fc30, 1.fc29, 1.fc28 3.1.0 → 3.1.1

I also pushed a minor bug-fix update for granite, which fixes a typo in my downstream patch that could have lead to crashes due to the GSettings schema compilation not happening correctly at package install time.

I’ve noticed that the people over at NixOS have also included my granite patch to fix applications that use it on Desktop Environments other than Pantheon.

package version release changes
granite 5.2.3 1.fc30, 1.fc29 5.2.2 → 5.2.3

I’ve also worked to package the libfixposix library, which is a new dependency of the latest few versions of the sequeler SQL client.

libfixposix 0.4.3 1.fc30, 1.fc29, 1.fc28 Initial packaging
