This week was calm, I only added one new package to fedora, renamed and updated one other package (the Pantheon applications menu), and fixes some build issues for three packages in fedora rawhide, and pushed one update previously only available on fedora rawhide to fedora 28, too.

fedora updates

I’ve added one new package to fedora this week (agenda), which is a simple “made for elementary” TODO-list application.

package version release changes
agenda 1.0.9 1.fc29 Initial package
agenda 1.0.9 1.fc28 Initial package
agenda 1.0.9 1.fc27 Initial package

Additionally, I’ve updated the application menu used by elementary (the Pantheon desktiop) to the latest upstream release - and the package was renamed from the old slingshot-launcher name to the more appropriate wingpanel-applications-menu, which also matches the upstream project name more closely.

package version release changes
wingpanel-applications-menu 2.3.0 1.fc29 slingshot-launcher 2.2.0 → 2.3.0
wingpanel-applications-menu 2.3.0 1.fc28 slingshot-launcher 2.2.0 → 2.3.0
wingpanel-applications-menu 2.3.0 1.fc27 slingshot-launcher 2.2.0 → 2.3.0

I’ve also pushed updates fixing build issies to three packages that were somehow missed when the mass change to add gcc and gcc-c++ to the build dependencies as needed was done.

package version release changes
elementary-photos 0.2.5 2.fc29 added missing dependencies
wingpanel 2.1.1 2.fc29 added missing dependencies
wingpanel-indicator-datetime 2.1.0 2.fc29 added missing dependencies

The last update this week was to fix the outdated rubygem-parallel package in fedora 28 - I already had pushed the new version to rawhide, but not yet to fedora 28. The new builds also ignore the results of the test suite, since there are timing and load sensitive tests, which randomly fail when the package is built in koji.

package version release changes
rubygem-parallel 1.12.1 1.fc28 1.3.3 → 1.12.1
